After an extremely long hiatus, I'm going to attempt to get this up and running again.
So here goes...John is here, after 9 miserable months, and he's pretty cute. Lillian likes him a lot, as a matter of fact if I leave the room, I usually come back to find this:

or this:

She's also learned that she gets her picture taken a lot more if she poses with him, as soon as the picture is taken she pushes him to the side again.

And some more cute pictures of the Monsters:

Saying Hi to the horse.

Bubbles.

Spinning with Papa.

Being a prankster, she thinks she's hillarious.

Being precious.

Sleeping, his specialty.

All bundled up.

Laughing.

Showing off his double chin.

I wish his eyes would stay this color forever, we'll see.

Keeping an eye out.

I know I haven't updated in months... but I've been sick, and tired, and full of excuses.
But lots of important stuff has been going on. In the past week Lillian has learned to blow bubbles in the bathtub. And got her first molar, althought I don't know if it's technically a "molar", it is a back tooth. She's also had a series of accidents and the other normal mumbojumbo.
I apologize but I'm going to just bombard with some updates really quickly of her birthday, mexico, fathers day, and aunt julia's visit.
Helping mom bake:

I'm 1.

Before:

The beach... she didn't really dig the whole sand thing:

Post swim:

Eating delicious pudding with Dad:

And checking out the view:

Father's Day was spent playing on slipnslides and kiddie pools at JB and Lisa's:

She did not like the slipnslide:

Riding horses with Dad:

Aunt Julia's visit consisted of lots of laziness:

Fast food:

Showing off:

And being a freak with her weird Aunt:

And some other misc. of her favorite hangout:

Eating popsicles:

Eating at her table:

Giving rides:

Her bff:

And playing dress up... yes she did this all by herself:

So I know it's been about two months since my last update. We've just been traveling, and busy, and had a computer crash. So here we go.
At the end of April we went out to Texas to see Uncle Bradley before he left for California, and had fun wrecking havoc. Gigi and Gampa were also there, and spoiled Lillian with a walk EVERY morning... something that she is distraught about not happing in Arizona, although I keep trying to explain to her, that walks aren't cool when it's over 100 degrees outside. She also made friends with all the dogs, barked at them often, and spent the majority of her time either outside or banging on the back door demanding to be let outside. She also befriended one of those singing dancing ducks that Grandma and Papa gave someone and proceeded to dance with it every chance she got... unless of course a video camera was handy.
But enough of the stories, here are some Texas adventure photos.
Playing in Boxes:

Reading the Paper:

Her First Bubble Bath:

Outside with Matthew:

Eating Popsicles, her new favorite treat:

Eating pie with Pwopwo:

Eating a banana with her black eye:

And finally, eating mom's face:

The bear chair:

And being a daredevil:

Reading:

Throwing a fit:

Looking for trouble:

And her birthday gift from the Fuller family, a new friend:

More Later.

So now that taxes are finally finished, hopefully I'll be able to be more up-to-date with pictures. But here's what we've been up to for the past few weeks.
First of all, some good news, with a little effort Lillian can officially close her mouth:

We were a little concerned about that.
She can also pretend like she doesn't hear me when I tell her to sit down:

And give me attitude when she finally does follow through:

She's officially walking everywhere

Which is serious trouble. She's made a habit of getting into everything the second I turn my back, for example, the cabinets while I'm making breakfast:

And the closet when I get her out of the tub:

Yes, she's still a shoe licker, it's a problem we're working on.
She thinks it's really cute to pop up in between our legs if we're sitting at the bar:

Or just to use the bar stools as a chew toy in general:

Chewing has become a necessity since seemingly over night she has five teeth, she's not even a baby anymore:

Other signs she's no longer a baby:
Going to the other side of the couch to place phone calls:

Texting incessently:

Posing for pictures:

Yelling over me when I'm talking to her:

And putting her hands on her hips when she doesn't like what I have to say:

She's also starting making this face:

Anytime she's not getting exactly what she wants.
She's turning into more of a daredevil every day, and her new favorite game is standing on the couch and purposely falling over:

Then laughing hysterically.
And she has mastered they art of dropping anything and everything, mostly on to the wood floor behind the couch:

She refuses to eat baby food, so we've given up and let her feed herself:

Which more often than not leads to a disaster:

And a bath in the kitchen sink:

And last but not least, Lillian making herself the center of attention, as usual:

Okay, so I know this update is long overdue, so it's going to be huge... I would apologize, but who can be upset about a million pictures of the worlds cutest baby? She's still not walking, but making a point of climbing everything, including the ladder Dad left out today, and has 3 and 1/2 teeth, but I can never get a picture of the top 1 and 1/2. The past few nights she's made a habit of going to bed around 7 (extremely early) and taking more than 45 minute naps, which is giving me the odd sensation of being able to function as a human being. Anyways, on the the pictures.
First of all, after her 9 month check up Lillian had to go get this blood test that her doctor does standard for all his 9 month old babies, and I thought they would just take it from her heel. But instead they stuck a mini needle in her arm and dug around for a vein for what seemed like forever, but was probably more like 45 seconds, poor baby:

The other day she insisted on feeding herself baby food, and thought she was so clever:

So I gave in, and started just feeding her big kid food, including. drumrolllllll.... Her FIRST HAPPY MEAL. Which she loved, because she's my daughter:

She has fully grasped the concept of hiding, and has made a habit of doing it whenever possible:

And now knows how to give hugs and kisses, which she passes out to all her animals:

She's also learned how to climb on and off her duck all by herself:

I got her a backyardigans plate the other day, because it's her favorite show, and she carried it around like a security blanket:

Fortunately the Easter Bunny (PwoPwo) found some stuffed animals to replace the plate:

And here a few pictuer of her playing the the backyard/eating yogurt covered pretzels, and being adorable like she does so well:

And finally, taking a nap with PwoPwo, and being all pretty and dressed up:

Yesterday after we returned from lunch at about 3:30pm, Lillian and I layed down in the guest bed to take a nap, with the door closed, or so I thought. The next thing I know Ian and Lillian are staring at me and it's 5:00. Ian tells me that he came home from work and Lillian was in the living room with her hat on and a poopy diaper leaking everywhere. So apparently the little devil waited until I was asleep got off the bed by herself without getting hurt, torn apart everything she could in the room, before she escaped out into the house and fortunately didn't go out onto the roof, and put her hat on all by herself whilst spreading her fecal matter all over the room. I'm so proud of her.

She also got her first fat lip the other night:

And she's getting her top tooth, which is causing her nose to run, so following once again in Aunt Jenn's footsteps, she's always licking the snot off of her upper lip, which is gross but trying to wipe her nose is the equvilant of cutting her fingers off, so she usually beats me to the snot.

And here she is yelling at me for taking pictures:

And stopping me from taking pictures:

And her rubbing her eyes because she's tired, and also her doing something freakish with her tounge.

So Friday I took Lillian to her nine month. She's 19 lbs 8oz and 29inches. Didn't have to have any shots and the doctor said she should be walking in the next six weeks, what a stinker. She always stands up by herself now and look around until someone congratulates her on a job well done. And Papa taught her how to climb the stairs the other day, so everytime she gets to their house she goes right for the stairs.
We had laundry day the other day, which means she's not allowed to wear clothes, and she helped mom fold/unfold the laundry

But mostly played a lot of peekaboo with the laundry basket... she thinks I can't see through the holes:

Sunday she went to her first birthday party and ate cake, but mainly just frosting:

And here are some more cute pictures of her sleeping with her buns in the air... which is her favorite position:

And playing in the saran wrap that Dad wrapped Mom's birthday gift in:

She also got her 9 month pictures today and was horrrrrible, probably because she woke up at 1am last night and proceeded to refuse sleep until 4am, but I still love her, anyways you can see those Here.

So this is kind of overdue, but nothing really has been going on...
The other day I got Lillian all dressed up super cute because I wanted her to wear her new tennis shoes:

But she hated them and took them off and crawled around instead:

And ended up just taking a nap with dad:

And mussing up the whole outfit before we could even go anywhere...which is probably why I never dress her up.
So yesterday we slept in and were to groggy to do anything:

So we stayed in our pjs all day... Lillian copied me and did some squats:

And stretched:

And then ate her comb because she was trying to make a statement and wanted to keep her Nielson bedhead all day:

Plus she had a bit of a traumatic experience when I took pictures of her with a frog towel on her head the day before:

Also as a side note in the mornings she thinks she's really smart and puts her pacifier in her mouth all by herself, except she puts it in upside down, and just ends up drooling all down her front, but it's still cute:

And so is her chub...which is going fast:
